Kelly Check, DPM

Kelly Check, D.P.M., offers a full range of services for the foot and ankle. She is a graduate of Des Moines University and completed a surgical residency with emphasis on forefoot pathology. She has completed additional training in care of lower extremity wounds including diabetic ulcers and wounds related to vascular pathology or trauma.

She is excited by the continued evolution of the Story Medical Wound Care team as it offers more comprehensive and complex care. She offers a large array of in-office care for nail and skin issues, bunions, digital issues, and pain in the foot or ankle due to arthritic pain or injury.

Dr. Check believes in a holistic approach to these often-localized issues. She believes in working hard to discover the underlying causes and addressing all aspects contributing to the issue. She has served Story Medical since 2002 is delighted to be a part of the community.

She is busy off-the-clock as well with family events. She loves being outside working in the flower gardens or going for walks. She and her family love to travel, hike and canoe.
