Jyl Wonnell, PA-C

Jyl Wonnell, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant. She completed her PA studies and Bachelor of Medical Science degree from St. Louis University. Prior to PA school, she attended Iowa State University. She has worked in Family Medicine since her graduation in 1998 and at Story Medical Clinic since 2007. She cares for patients of all ages and recognizes the trust they place in her care.

Jyl's love of science and childhood experiences sparked her passion for medicine. She believes her primary role as a provider is to educate and partner with her patients to help them achieve optimal health. With kindness and respect she works with you to develop a plan to reach your health goals.

When not working, Jyl loves to spend time with her family, travel (the hotter the location, the better!) try new foods (not prepared by herself), dabble in photography (you will see some of her work in her exam rooms) and swim (preferably in a tropical location)!
