Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist Joins Medical Staff at Story Medical

NEVADA, IOWA – Todd Troll, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Story Medical and is seeing patients in the Story Medical Outpatient Clinic. A specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Troll is a member of the Iowa Clinic.
Dr. Troll earned his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, his medical degree from the University of Indiana, and completed his residency at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
"I did a rotation in my fourth-year of residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and I knew that was it," Dr. Troll says. "I knew that is what I wanted to do."
Physicians specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation—also commonly referred to as physiatry—aid patients in regaining lost abilities after experiencing a medical condition or injury. One of the most common conditions Dr. Troll treats is carpal tunnel syndrome. He sees patients on a referral basis at Story Medical.
