Family Member Sees a First-Class Establishment

Pam Danger - Garden City, Iowa

It is a pleasure for me to sit down and send this to all of you to thank you for the wonderful care and consideration give to my sister-in-law, who was seen in your emergency room and had an overnight stay in your beautiful new hospital on Saturday, June 18, 2011.

My sister-in-lawa was visiting from out of town this week and staying with relatives and visiting friends. She was first seen at the emergency room at Mary Greeley Hospital on early Saturday morning, and was later taking to the Story Medical emergency room with the help of my son-in-law, Steve Van Dam, who notified the hospital that we were coming later on Saturday afternoon.

Upon our arrival at the emergency room, she received immediate attention and within a short time after being admitted she was being treated for her pain and for her dehydration. Everyone who helped us was so kind and knowledgeable about the symptoms she was having. Upon the advice of the doctor on duty, she did spend the night in the hospital and was released on Sunday morning.

Every person we came in contact with at Story Medical went above and beyond to make her comfortable and get to the source of the illness at hand. You all are to be commended on your excellent customer service and should be proud of all the people involved with making your hospital a first class establishment. We will be good advertisement for your facility and want to thank you again for your kindness and, most of all, your excellent care.

Thanks again - especially for Steve Van Dam in getting the care coordinated for us coming in. We appreciate every one of you! Keep up the fine work you so graciously gave to us.
