Michael Nusbaum was recently thanked for his service to the residents of Story County as a Story County Medical Center Board of Trustee. Chairman of the Board, David Anderson, presented Nusbaum with an award to commemorate six years of contribution to Story County Medical Center at the December Board meeting.
Nusbaum served on both the finance committee and the marketing committee of the Board and helped lead Story Medical through many projects including the opening of Story Medical’s South Campus.
“Mike has been an excellent resource for the Board,” said Anderson. “He was instrumental in evaluating financing options for the building project and the marketing efforts that coincided with the opening of the South Campus.”
Nusbaum’s term was complete in December, and he chose not to run for another term in order to spend more time with his family. Nusbaum and his wife, Amber, live in Nevada and have three young children.
“Serving on the Board was a fantastic experience both personally and professionally,” said Nusbaum, who works as an ophthalmic tech for Wolfe Eye Clinic. “I am proud of what the Board accomplished during my term and will be a lifelong supporter of Story County Medical Center.”
