Dave Anderson is currently president of REC-CHEK, Inc. of Nevada, IA, and president of Goldleaf Financial Solutions Inc. of Nashville, TN. Anderson is an original founder of both companies which help community financial institutions improve operational efficiency and gain a competitive edge in the marketplace.
He has been active as a Trustee of the Story County Medical Center Board for over 15 years and is a long-time resident of Nevada.
Glenda Bradshaw
Ames, Iowa

Glenda Bradshaw graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing and received her bachelor of science from Coe College in Cedar Rapids. She was employed at Story County Medical Center for 5 years in the early 1980s as a registered nurse in the Acute and OB unit. Bradshaw has served on the Iowa Board of Directors of the American Diabetes Association, where she lead youth activities. She also served as a 4-H leader.
Bradshaw and her husband, Larry, have worked internationally. They are presently serving at the Graduate Institute of Applied Linguistics where her husband is Dean of Academic Affairs and she is International Student Coordinator.
Liz Hertz

Liz Hertz has been the director of marketing for Burke Corporation in Nevada since 1998. After receiving her bachelor of science degree in dietetics and food science from Iowa State University she went on to complete the masters program in 1995.
She has an extensive healthcare background and has worked in the field for over 30 years, including her employment in Senior Care at Story County Medical Center as a registered dietitian and department head.
Liz resides in Nevada with her husband, Randy. They have three daughters: Gina, Betsy, and Sally. She is an active community member and is involved in the Nevada Rotary Club, Central Iowa Symphony Board and First United Methodist Church of Nevada.
Mike Nusbaum, Vice-Chairman

Mike Nusbaum grew up in Marshalltown, Iowa. He attended Marshalltown Community College and graduated in 1989. From there Nusbaum attended the University of Minnesota School for Ophthalmic Technology and graduated in 1991.
He was employed at the University of Kansas Medical Center Ophthalmology department until November of 1992. Nusbaum then came back to Iowa to work for Iowa Eye Care Physicians, which is now part of the Wolfe Eye Clinic, P.C.
Nusbaum lived in Ames prior to moving to Nevada in 1997 with his wife, Amber. Together they have 2 children, Noah, 5, and Ellie, 3.
Gaylan Scofield, Secretary/Treasurer

Gaylan Scofield, Ph.D., received his doctor of philosophy degree from Iowa State University in 1991 in agriculture education. He has been recognized with the Regents Award for Professional & Scientific Service Award and the College of Agriculture Professional & Scientific Service Award.
Dr. Scofield currently serves as Director of the Brenton Center for Agricultural Instruction and Technology Transfer, which is part of the College of Agriculture at Iowa State University. He provides leadership for the College of Agriculture's distance education program.
Dr. Scofield and his wife currently reside in Story City and have three children. In the past, he has served as the Story City Public Library Board Chair, as a board member of the Story City Hospital, as a member of the Story City Community Planning Committee, and a local 4-H Leader.
Patrick Sheets
Nevada, Iowa

Patrick Sheets is a Pioneer Seed Pro representative and resides in Nevada with his family. Having lived in Nevada since 1995 with his wife, Jean, and sons, Kelly and Cole, he has been a very active community member.
Sheets is past mayor of Nevada and past Nevada Chamber of Commerce president. He is involved in the First United Methodist Church of Nevada and was instrumental on the SCORE Capital Campaign committee.
Meg Tait
Ames, Iowa
Term Expires: 2016
Meg Tait is a retired Iowa State University faculty member who taught in the dietetics program for eighteen years. She has also worked in the nutrition section of the State of Iowa Department of Health and held positions as a hospital dietitian in Virginia and North Carolina.
In addition to being a member of the Story County Medical Center Board of Trustees, Tait is active in her church where she currently serves as treasurer. She is also active in the League of Women Voters and was formerly a member of the Emergency Residence Project Board.
Tait has resided in Ames since 1960. She and her husband, John, are the parents of two daughters and have two grandchildren. Since retirement she and her husband have been able to travel to a number of interesting places around the world.
